The Belknap Beautification Committee supports beautification efforts across the neighborhood. It is volunteer-based and action-oriented. Contact us to get involved!

Committee Meetings:

Pluck & Plug Squad:

Weekly(ish) meetups to pick up trash, weed planters, and beautify our neighborhood! Activities are on hold until the weather warms up a bit.

Why

Belknap Native Plant Initiative

In fall 2024, we collaborated with neighbors across Belknap to establish a thriving ecosystem of native pollinator habitat!
The initiative was designed to enhance biodiversity, support pollinator health, foster environmental stewardship, beautify the neighborhood, build meaningful connections between residents, and educate neighbors about Michigan’s native flora.
The program included the installation of 27 native pollinator gardens, installed by residents with the support of the Belknap Beautification Committee.
Stay tuned for plans for 2025 which will include a walking tour to view all the gardens!
